Joanna co-runs Hackney Voices community choir with fellow singer Cleo Bayley.  

They have performed at various events throughout London including; 

What The River Sings at Trinity Buoy Wharf with The Grand Union Orchestra

Sing for Water at St John at Hackney Church

Depart with Circa circus company in Spitalfields cemetery as part of the LIFT festival in 2016.

Choir leaders Cleo and Jo teach songs from the rich and varied local traditions of Africa, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Spain and the Caribbean as well as British/Celtic folk songs. They also teach their own arrangements of classic soul and pop songs and original music by Joanna.
